How to change your computer password

Please follow the below instructions to change your computer password.

NOTE: You must already be logged in to your computer and you must know your current password to be able to change it.

Instructions

  1. Open System Preferences

  2. Click on ‘Users & Groups’

  3. Click the lock in the bottom left corner

  4. Enter your username and password

     

  5. Select your name on the left, and click ‘Change Password’

  6. Enter your current password, new password, and new password again. A hint is not required or recommended by us.

     

  7. Click ‘Change Password’
