Only the Student's background shows in NetRef

 Problem

This guide walks you through approving screen recording so NetRef can take screenshots of the user's desktop.

This is an Apple limitation and can not be automated by the Technology department.

 Solution

Approve Screen Recording for NetRef in system preferences.

  1. Open System Preferences

  2. Navigate to Security & Privacy

  3. Select the Privacy tab

     

  4. In the left pane, scroll down and select the Screen Recording option

     

  5. In the Right Pane, check the box next to NetRef

  6. It will tell you that you need to quit the program, you do not. You can click skip or cancel instead of quit.
